According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, negotiations between Tottenham and Crystal Palace for the transfer of Eberechi Eze have reached an advanced stage.
With the transfer window entering its final stretch, Spurs are pushing to finalise the signing of England international, while the player himself is fully committed to making the move across London.
Sources indicate that all parties are optimistic about reaching an agreement before Deadline Day.
Eze is said to be 100% committed to joining Tottenham and is simply waiting for the official green light to undergo his medical.
Tottenham are ready to pay big for Eberechi Eze
The structure of the deal is expected to be worth up to €70 million, including add-ons. For Crystal Palace, losing their star playmaker would be a major blow, but the size of the offer represents a significant return on their investment and reflects Eze’s rising stock.
The 27-year-old has been a talisman at Selhurst Park, delivering goals, assists, and creativity in abundance, and his performances have not gone unnoticed by top clubs in Europe.
Interestingly, despite speculation earlier in the summer, Bayern Munich were never seriously in the race for Eze.
Plettenberg confirms that the Bundesliga champions did not make a formal approach, and their focus has remained on other midfield targets. This leaves Tottenham with a relatively clear path to secure the player.
Thomas Frank wants more creativity in his squad

For Spurs, this move represents more than just another signing. Under Thomas Frank, the North London club is trying to build a squad capable of competing at the top end of the Premier League and in Europe.
They have already completed the signing of Mohamed Kudus from West Ham United who performed exceptionally well on his league debut for Spurs in their 3-0 win against Burnley.
If the deal goes through, Tottenham fans could soon see one of the league’s most exciting talents in their colours.
