
Sky Germany reports that Tottenham have lodged an opening bid for RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons.
Tottenham have reportedly made an opening offer for RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons.
According to Sky Germany, Spurs have lodged a bid that comes “very close” to Leipzig’s price tag of €70 million.
Chelsea are also in the race for the Dutchman, but have yet to submit an official offer, as per the German media outlet.
Earlier on Thursday, Simons was reported to be in London for talks about his future.
The 22-year-old is currently under contract with Leipzig until 2027.
