Timothy Weah’s agent exposes disgraceful Juventus transfer structure

Timothy Weah’s agent Sam Mbangue blasts Juventus for treating players unfairly despite their contributions.

GOAL.com reports an interview where Sambague is exposing Juventus’ “selfish” transfer department. He said: “It’s a disgrace. Weah is a fantastic player and a fantastic teammate. To see people acting like this for money and because they are selfish has disappointed me a lot.”

A report by La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed Juventus received offers from Nottingham Forest for Weah and Samuel Mbangula for a combined fee of €25 million. The American forward was not named in the Matchday squad for The Bianconeri’s Club World Cup game against Manchester City to force him out of the club this summer.

Weah and Mbangula posted cryptic messages on their respective social media handles when the developments were happening behind the scenes to show their displeasure about Juventus’ handling of players.

With Juventus set to raise funds this summer from transfers, they might feel the need to offload certain key players in a desperate move. However, the ill-treatment of players, who have contributed to the growth of the club in recent times, is completely unacceptable.
