With his contract expiring at the end of the season, Timo Werner no longer has a future at RB Leipzig.
The 29-year-old could have moved to the United States last summer, but his proposed transfer to the New York Red Bulls collapsed.
Recent reports have again linked Werner with a move to RB Leipzig’s American partner club. However, according to Bild, he is more interested in joining another MLS side: Inter Miami.
It remains unclear whether there is mutual interest from Inter Miami, whose squad features aging stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets and Jordo Alba.
The former Tottenham and Chelsea forward has played just one minute of football for Leipzig this season.
