Only three clubs remain in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham (19), according to Bild.
In the coming weeks, the Englishman will inform BVB bosses about his future. Anything other than a summer exit would be a huge surprise to sports director Sebastian Kehl and club boss Hans-Jochim Watzke.
The three clubs in question are Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester City. It was reported in The Sun on Wednesday that Real were convinced they would sign Bellingham for around €115m.
However, a return to England could also be likely. Over the past few months, both Man City and Liverpool have been working away in the background in the hopes that the midfielder chooses them.
Similar to ex-Dortmund star Erling Haaland, Jude’s father helps with transfer business. Perhaps they will be tempted to join up with the Haaland clan again or did the Liverpool players in the England squad do enough to convince him? As the season progresses, Bellingham’s future club should become more and more clearer.
