Earlier this week, OGC Nice confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko.
The Ligue 1 outfit have been able to beat a number of top European sides to the signing of Moukoko, who has joined the French outfit on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.
As well as this, there has been an agreement that Nice will pay the 19-year-old’s full salary for the duration of the loan deal.
However, now new details surrounding the move have become clear.
As reported by Patrick Berger, should Nice activate their option to purchase Moukoko, then they will pay BvB €18 million for his signature.
Nevertheless, if the Ligue 1 side elect to do this and then sell the striker at a later date, then Dortmund will also secure 15% of the transfer fee.
This has, therefore, ensured that Die Schwarzgelben will continue to profit from Moukoko should he reach the potential that once seemed inevitable at the Westfalenstadion.
