VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabien Wohlgemuth has revealed that talks are underway to extend Angelo Stiller’s contract beyond 2027.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Swabians, with FC Barcelona thought to be among his suitors.
Stuttgart, however, are keen to keep hold of the Germany international and are doing all they can to tie him down to a new deal.
“We have been in good talks for some time,” Wohlgemuth confirmed in an interview with Sky Germany on Sunday.
“We will go public when things are more concrete. That may take some time.
“He is one of our most important players. Of course, our goal is to extend his contract,” he emphasized.
