Stat: Lamine Yamal the lowest-rated player on the pitch at HT in Barcelona vs PSG

A head-turning statistic, highlighting the struggles of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal during the first-half of the club’s latest outing, has come to the fore online.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the continent, in a Champions League showdown with defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.

As things stand, the Blaugrana find themselves trailing by a goal to nil, owing to a moment of individual Désiré Doué brilliance.

The aforementioned Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, has been busy trying to make the difference at the other end, as Barca search for an equaliser.

Thus far, however, the 19-year-old’s efforts have come up well short…

In fact, Lamine was at fault for PSG’s opener, giving up possession courtesy of a sloppy pass, in the process opening the door for Doué to rifle home from the edge of the area.

And as since revealed by statisticians WhoScored, combined with his struggles to influence proceedings in the final third, Lamine was therefore considered the worst performer on the pitch across the opening 45 minutes at the Parc des Princes.
