Serie A sides want to sign Yunus Musah

According to Relevo via Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan and AC Milan are interested in signing Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah.

Both clubs recently enquired about the player, but Juventus have also been monitoring the 19-year-old since last summer and are following a similar plan to the one they executed with Carlos Soler last year.

Juventus watched Soler during the campaign and when the end of the season approached decided what to do. The Italian giants met with Soler to try to sign him but a move didn’t materialise and he joined PSG.

Inter Milan called intermediaries well connected with the club to find out if they would sell the USA international in January. They were met with a resounding “no” from Valencia.

The Mestalla outfit don’t want to sell their midfielder, and if they do, it would be in the summer.

The USMNT player has a contract with Los Che until 2026 and the club have a release clause of €100m included in his deal to avoid losing the player if negotiations do begin. Last summer, the club turned down an offer of €25m from Nottingham Forest for Yunus.

His entourage consider Italy as the best destination for him because of the clubs that want him and they see it as a good place for him to continue his development.
