As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Serhou Guirassy’s release clause at VfB Stuttgart will be reactivated this summer, amid a plethora of interest from the Premier League and top European clubs.
The striker had a €17.5m release clause this January and was highly tipped to move on from Stuttgart. With 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga games, Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy has attracted interest from Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle United, Borussia Dortmund, and more. However, the Guinea international chose to stay with the Swabians as he headed off to the African Cup of Nations.
Despite his absence from the league, the striker still remained the league’s second-highest scorer behind Harry Kane.
With the clause now set to be reactive in the summer, the likelihood of Guirassy leaving at the end of the season is now more probable than ever.
Alongside a list of Premier League clubs, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid have also been previously linked with the 27-year-old forward.
