Leroy Sané suffered a torn muscle fiber in his left thigh during Bayern’s win against Freiburg over the weekend. Per ‘kicker’, the winger will likely return against Inter Milan in a few weeks time.
This means Sané will miss the Bavarian club’s upcoming games against Hoffenheim, Barcelona and Mainz, before returning on the last matchday of the Champions League group stage.
There isn’t any question regarding his status for the World Cup.
