According to a report by Foot Mercato, Royal Antwerp are considering making a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Ayman Kari (19).
The midfielder spent the last year and a half at FC Lorient where he had a successful loan despite the club suffering a relegation at the end of last season. Kari was able to demonstrate his qualities for Les Merlus and looked to be in PSG’s plans this summer.
The French champions denied the midfielder a loan away from the club to Borussia Dortmund and instead involved the teenager more in the club operations. Kari was given a chance to impress during the off-season, and he was reportedly a pleasant surprise for Luis Enrique.
However, a busy transfer window has reshaped the PSG midfield and Kari is no longer training with the first team and has been dropped down into the U23s. With this in mind, Royal Antwerp are interested in securing a talent considered the second-best talent to emerge from the academy in recent years after Warren Zaïre-Emery (18) before the Belgian transfer window ends tomorrow.
