Speaking after Leipzig’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of Juventus, Marco Rose said he thought his side had been taught a tough lesson.
RB Leipzig took the lead twice and played 11 against 10 for much of the second half, but were ultimately beaten 2-3 by Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Speaking after the game, Leipzig coach Marco Rose said his side must learn from the defeat.
“In the end, we have to acknowledge the quality Juventus possess, particularly for Dusan Vlahovic’s second goal,” Rose said.
“However, we didn’t defend well in two moments and weren’t clinical with our own chances. It’s a tough lesson, but we have to make sure we do learn from tonight. There is no alternative.
“We will try to improve and to make sure we take our chances to win the next kind of game like this one.”
