Rick Karsdorp and his agent will hold talks with Roma over the next week regarding the player’s future at the club.
Il Tempo (Via TMW) have reported today about the situation of the Dutchman, following Jose Mourinho’s public criticism of the player, and they state that he will train normally with the first team but it is not known whether he will play for the side under Mourinho or not.
A meeting between the club, the player and the agent is set to take place next week with the aim of planning his next move. While Mourinho has stated publicly that he wants Karsdorp to leave in January, the player’s contract runs out in the summer of 2025 and finding a buyer will not be easy. The meeting will look to sort out that situation.
There have been reports about the player being unhapppy with Mourinho’s comments after the draw against Sassuolo.
