Serie A giants Roma are making progress in their move for Girona striker Artem Dovbyk and they are already preparing a hefty offer for the player.
Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed what other reports have stated, revealing that the Giallorossi and the player’s entourage are closing in on an agreement over personal terms and Roma are racing ahead of other potential suitors for the Ukraine international.
Dovbyk’s agents were in Rome earlier today and they will stay in Trigoria to progress talks further. Roma are ready to offer a fee of €30 million to €32 million to Girona for the player and they would also add fixed bonuses to the deal, with Girona likely to demand a higher fixed figure in the fee.
Girona already have an agreement with Atletico Madrid and are counting on that, but Roma are counting on their agreement over personal terms with the player. The Roman club are positive about signing the player.
