Despite the fact we are only in mid-March, the main details for the upcoming pre-season are already being confirmed.
The Soccer Champions Tour has been a mainstay of the summer in recent years, and the Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona will again be played as part of that competition in the United States.
When will Real Madrid and Barcelona do battle?
Specifically, this summer’s game will be played on August 3, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, a venue with a capacity of 82,500 spectators.
Among the other games Stateside, the Azulgranas will make their summer debut on July 30, against Manchester City at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. One day later, on July 31, Real Madrid will face AC Milan at Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago.
On August 6, there is a double serving. Madrid take on Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte (North Carolina). On the same day, Bara take on AC Milan at the M&T Stadium in Baltimore (Maryland).
Interestingly, the tournament actually starts without any Spanish representation, with the Manchester City vs AC Milan match being played on the 27th at the Yankee Stadium in New York.
