Several high-profile members of the first-team squad at La Liga giants Real Madrid have aired their concerns regarding manager Carlo Ancelotti with president Florentino Pérez.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
Real Madrid are of course fresh off an evening to forget on Wednesday.
After welcoming Arsenal to Spain’s capital with sights on another historic ‘remontada’, Los Blancos were condemned to a 2-1 defeat, sent packing from the Champions League in embarrassing fashion as a result.
The result, and even more so the nature in which it came about, has since culminated in widespread calls for Carlo Ancelotti to be sent on his way by the Real Madrid board.
And as alluded to above, questions surrounding Ancelotti’s tactics now appear to have spread all the way to the dressing room at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As per a report from Relevo:
‘The president already knows firsthand what’s going on in that locker room and that some heavyweights have lost confidence in turning things around. He was able to speak with some players after the match and found complaints about the approach against Arsenal.’
