Real Madrid are targeting a new defender in the summer transfer market with Lille star Leny Yoro their No.1 option.
The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the highest rated centre backs in European football in the last 12 months after emerging at Lille.
Yoro is under contract at the French side until 2025, with no progress on a renewal, and the club could look to sell him.
Lille are rumoured to be demanding around €60m for Yoro and that has blocked any immediate move for him from any interested party.
Paris Saint-Germain were previously tipped as the front runners to complete a deal due to their ability to sign top French talent.
However, as per the latest update from French outlet L’Equipe, PSG are concerned they are falling behind in the race for Yoro, with interest from the Premier League and Madrid.
Lille will stick to their valuation, but if no offer comes in, they could reduce that price to avoid a possible free transfer exit in 2025.
