Real Betis to ring the changes for Real Madrid clash

The coaching staff at La Liga outfit Real Betis are preparing a whole host of changes to the club’s XI for their upcoming meeting with Real Madrid.

That’s according to Diario AS, who have today provided an insight into the situation.

As part of the final round of fixtures in the Spanish top-flight season, Betis will make the daunting trip to the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday night.

The Verdiblancos have little to play for in the matchup, with 7th-place in the table, and an ensuing place in Europe for next season, already sewn up.

Add to this the absence of the likes of Pablo Fornals and Rui Silva from training, and Manuel Pellegrini is therefore ready to hand a chance to impress to some of the more seldom-seen members of his squad.

As per AS, the likes of Ez Abde, Sergi Altimira and Rodri are all pushing for starts in Spain’s capital.

Assane Diao is also in line for a return to the starting XI, whilst the departing Claudio Bravo, too, could be in from the off between the posts, for his farewell appearance in Betis colours.
