Real Betis are not willing to part ways with Borja Iglesias for less than €40m, report Mundo Deportivo.
Yesterday it was communicated that Atlético Madrid have contacted the representatives of the Galician striker over a possible transfer if they are able to sell João Félix this January.
Even though the Spaniard was quick to dismiss the rumours linking him away from Sevilla yesterday, it is believed that Los Colchoneros have tabled an offer worth between €30m and €35m to Los Verdiblancos today in order to bring Iglesias to the Spanish capital.
However, according to sources close to the operation, the Andalucían outfit are not ready to accept an offer below €40m for El Panda.
The purchase of Iglesias will depend on whether Atlético Madrid are able to find a club who is willing to sign take Félix off their hands next month. With the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United are currently in pole position to secure the services of of the 23-year-old Portuguese forward.
