Real Betis are expecting one of the Premier League clubs to make an offer for Borja Iglesias before the closing of the transfer window, report Estadio Deportivo.
Earlier this month it was reported that Los Verdiblancos were willing to listen to offers for El Panda and Atlético Madrid were keen to bring the 30-year-old to the Spanish capital.
However, Los Colchoneros were not willing to meet Real Betis’ €40m asking price and they opted to sign Memphis Depay from Barcelona instead.
Having been knocked out of the Copa del Rey and a place in the Champions League looking ever more unlikely based on their performance in La Liga, the Andaluz club are willing to part ways with Iglesias if the right offer comes in.
Several clubs are reportedly interested in the Spaniard and Real Betis hope that one of the Premier League sides looking for a striker, including Brighton, Brentford or Fulham, will make an offer before the transfer window closes.
