Since his arrival at Real Betis last summer, Isco has been a revelation at the club, quickly becoming their most important player. It is unsurprising that the Seville-based club wish to guarantee that the former Real Madrid player remains at the Benito Villamarín in the coming years.
According to Marca, should talks between the club and the player come to fruition, Isco will sign a new contract that will keep him at Betis until 2026, when he will be 34. With this new contract, Isco will also receive a standardised wage, as his current wage is variable and based on goals, assists, and appearances. His current deal in Seville expires in June 2024.
