RMC Sport are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain won’t stand in Achraf Hakimi’s (24) way, should the Moroccan international wish to depart the Ligue 1 club this summer.
The French publication are reporting that, despite liking the club, the former Real Madrid right-back has felt “less at ease” at PSG in recent months, amidst a downturn in form post-World Cup, as well as accusations of rape, which he denies. As reported by AFP, charges were filed against the PSG defender in March.
Should the player want to leave this summer, the club won’t fight to keep him, according to RMC. L’Équipe reported in May that should a considerable offer come in for Hakimi, PSG would listen to it. The publication reports that internal figures at Les Parisiens were irritated by his red card against FC Lorient earlier in the season, whilst they also believe that Hakimi is proving a “harmful” presence on talisman Kylian Mbappé (24).
