Paris Saint-Germain are keenly interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza (20), according to Sky Sport.
With Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (25) sidelined for many months following his cruciate ligament injury, the reigning double European champions are reportedly viewing the young Algerian as his potential replacement. An attempt to sign him as early as the upcoming winter transfer window cannot be ruled out. Manchester City, who were already interested in the 20-year-old last summer, are also said to be in the running.
However, eager to retain their star player, the Werkself have already reportedly begun discussions with Maza’s representatives in an attempt to secure an extension to his contract, which is currently due to expire in June 2030. But an agreement remains a long way off for the time being.
Having made 10 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen since the start of the season, Maza has already proved decisive on six occasions, scoring three goals and providing three assists across all competitions.
