PSG preparing summer move for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the possibility of signing Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

According to Il Mattino (via TMW),Kvaratskhelia is very much a wanted man in Paris, and is high on their list of potential Kylian Mbappé replacements, if such a footballer can really be replaced.

The French Champions are said to be willing to pay around €80 million for the winger from Georgia, as well as a bumper salary of €8 million per year. It shouldn’t come as a shock however that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis believes this to be below the asking price.

The man that they call ‘Kvaradona’ in Naples has a valid contract with the club until 30 June 2027 so there is by no means a big rush to sell him this summer. It does seem likely that his teammate Victor Osimhen might be on the move this summer, in which case De Laurentiis will be even more adamant that the winger will stay.

With that in mind the club and Kvaratskhelia have been discussing a contract renewal recently. At the moment the star earns around €1.5 million euros net per season, he wants six to consider signing a new deal with the club. Talks are ongoing but with Paris looming large the season coming to an end things are set to heat up very soon regarding this story.
