PSG are not rushing into renewing Sergio Ramos’ contract at Le Parc des Princes, report Mundo Deportivo.
Despite the Spaniard’s contract expiring in June 2023, PSG have not begun talks regarding a possible renewal of his deal.
Luis Campos wants to see how Ramos performs in the second half of the season, in particular in their Champions League round of last 16 tie against Bayern Munich.
The 36-year-old spent most of last season sidelined with an injury, but he has established himself as a regular starter this season both in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Ramos currently earns around €6m a season, which would most likely be reduced if him and the club choose to extend his stay in the French capital.
Earlier today it was communicated that Al Nassr would be keen to sign Ramos once his contract expires at PSG, which could see him reunite with his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, joining Al Nassr would reduce the chances of him being called up to La Roja by Luis de la Fuente.
