Speaking exclusively to Sky Germany, PSG and Germany international defender Thilo Kehrer (25) has denied reaching an agreement in principle with Spanish side Sevilla.
“As a player of PSG, my focus is currently on my club and daily training to be in top condition. I feel very good. My primary goal is to be successful in sport, I’m trying to create the best possible conditions for that,” said Kehrer. “I have not made any commitment to any other club, the current rumours are not true.”
Estadio Deportivo reported that Kehrer has reached an agreement to join Sevilla as a replacement for Jules Koundé, who joined Barcelona. PSG are open to the idea of selling Kehrer who is currently training apart from the senior team and has one-year remaining on his current deal with the French side. In Hansi Flick’s latest Germany squad, it’s also important that Kehrer is playing regular football in the next six months.
Per Sky Germany’s report, there has been no discussions between Sevilla and PSG for Kehrer, but a departure this summer is not ruled out.
