PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Juventus v Verona

Juventus return to action in Serie A on Sunday, as they take on 18th placed Verona in an attempt to close the gap between themselves and the top four.

Currently only seven points adrift of fourth-placed Milan, Juve are only four points behind 6th placed Atalanta, who have been in a poor run of form in recent weeks. La Dea play a game before Juve do and a loss for them could hand the Bianconeri a chance to go only one point behind Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.

Verona meanwhile, are five points from safety and with time running out for survival, they need to get some points on the table quickly. Their last league win came on the 13th of February against Salernitana and Marco Zaffaroni’s side have won only three games since 2023 began.

Sky Italia state that with Milan Djuric and Darko Lazovic out, Adolfo Gaich will start upfront for the Gialloblu. Josh Doig, who has impressed many this season, will also star.

As for Juventus, Max Allegri has already confirmed that none of Federico Chiesa, Paul Pogba or Angel di Maria will start, with the first two out of action and the Argentine expected to be on the bench.

Juventus predicted line-up: Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; De Sciglio, Fagioli, Locatelli, Barrenechea, Kostic; Milik, Kean.

Verona predicted line-up: Montipò; Dawidowicz, Hien, Magnani; Faraoni, Duda, Tameze, Doig; Ngonge, Verdi; Gaich
