Juventus have qualified for the Europa League quarter finals after their 2-0 win away against Bundesliga side Freiburg.
Dusan Vlahovic scored in the final minutes of the first half and it was the game’s winning goal and his first since February 16th, converting the penalty conceded for a handball that cost Freiburg’s defender Manuel Gulde his second yellow card of the game.
With a one-man advantage, Juventus decided to leave the ball to Freiburg and defended in a low-block. The plan worked fine as Juventus struggled a bit but goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny produced just one save during the second-half.
The Pole was the man of the match as he saved the day for Juventus by saving Matthias Ginter’s header early in the first-half when the scoreline was still on 0-0. Federico Chiesa sealed the deal in the stoppage time
