Real Madrid are currently in action at Anfield as they take on Liverpool in the league phase of the Champions League. Los Blancos are looking to make life a bit easier for themselves and qualify directly for the last 16 of the competition.
One Real Madrid legend has been spotted in attendance for this clash of giants, as Carlo Ancelotti’s men take on Arne Slot’s new-look Liverpool.
Gareth Bale is the man in question, with the Welshman present pitchside for punditry duty on behalf of British broadcaster TNT Sports.
Bale played over 250 games for Real Madrid, as he won three league titles, five Champions Leagues and a Copa del Rey during his time at the club.
As well as trophies, the winger contributed in the goal department too, with 106 goals and 67 assists across eight seasons in the Spanish capital.
The Welshman never quite managed to become a true fan favourite at the Bernabéu, as stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema tended to get the most recognition from the Real Madrid faithful.
It cannot be denied, however, that Bale is a true legend of the Spanish game, and his list of achievements is one to marvel at.
