Serie A giants Milan are considering sacking manager Paulo Fonseca, as the side prepare to take on Roma in the league game today.
Reports from France had suggested that Sergio Conceicao has become a key candidate to replace Fonseca, if the Portuguese gets sacked. They had suggested that there was no immediate threat to the Milan manager’s role.
Gianluca di Marzio has now revealed that Fonseca’s job is under big threat and his position has never been this uncertain. He also says that Conceicao is waiting in the wings.
It doesn’t end there, as Matteo Moretto has reported that a win against Roma today might not be enough to save Fonseca’s job and he is currently in a very delicate situation at the Rossoneri. Conceicao is a key option and the ex-Roma boss could get the sack, if even if Milan beat Roma.
A win today will put the Milan side in seventh in the table – above Bologna.
