Salih Özcan will not travel with the Turkish national team during the international break due to bone swelling in his foot.

The Turkish international will not included in his national team’s squad for their September fixtures due to bone swelling in his foot. Salih Özcan played the entire Revierderby on Saturday, as his injury was realized after the game.
Özcan suffered from a foot issue in training this summer and has already missed several games for Dortmund due to fitness problems. With Mahmoud Dahoud out until November with a shoulder injury, Emre Can could be reintroduced into the starting lineup if Özcan isn’t ready to return in October.
