As reported by RMC Sport and confirmed by L’Équipe, Ousmane Dembélé (27) has been left out of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Dembélé has been a mainstay in the PSG side that currently sit top of Ligue 1. The France international has featured in all six of Les Parisiens league games, scoring four goals and registering four assists in that time. He started and registered an assist during the 3-1 victory over Stade Rennais on Friday evening.
However, L’Équipe understands that, following that game, Dembélé was involved in a heated argument with manager Luis Enrique, whose reaction has been to drop the ever-present winger for the Champions League match against Arsenal. The disciplinary decision means that he will not travel with his teammates to London, unlike midfielder Vitinha, who has sufficiently recovered from injury and has been included in the travelling squad to face Arsenal.
