Barcelona star Wojciech Szczęsny kept alive a hugely impressive run with the Blaugrana on Sunday.
This came owing to developments in Barca’s latest outing.
Hansi Flick’s troops of course returned to action earlier today, welcoming Real Sociedad to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done on a dominant day’s work, the hosts emerged on the right side of a 4-0 scoreline, to take back over leadership of the Spanish top-flight table.
Post-match, up-and-coming pair Marc Casadó and Gerard Martín took the majority of the headlines, after both netting their first goals at senior level.
At the other end of the pitch, though, Wojciech Szczęsny enjoyed an altogether comfortable outing between the posts, not required to make even a single save.
And as much has only kept alive what has been a brilliant run for the Pole since taking over no.1 duties in Hansi Flick’s squad earlier this year.
Szczęsny, all told, has now taken to the pitch in Barcelona’s colours on 13 occasions.
And the former Arsenal and Juventus man has not tasted defeat in a single one, boasting a stellar record of 11 wins and two draws to date.
