The latest Champions League Team of the Week has on Thursday evening been unveiled.
And, of the XI, just two come from the week’s La Liga representatives.
The players in question? Robert Lewandowski, and Nahuel Molina.
Beginning with the former, frontman Lewandowski was on target for the 5th time in four games on Wednesday night.
As much came courtesy of a brilliant near post finish, en route to Barcelona’s 1-1 Last-16 first leg stalemate with Serie A champions Napoli.
And defender Molina enjoyed a fine evening down the right for Atlético Madrid, as Diego Simeone’s troops were put to the sword by a goal to nil at Inter Milan.
It is Italian table-toppers Inter, meanwhile, who dominate UEFA’s TOTW, boasting a leading four inclusions, in the form of Yann Sommer, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, and Marko Arnautović.
Porto’s impressive downing of Arsenal sees the Portuguese heavyweights rewarded with three spots in the XI, namely Otávio, Wendell, and Galeno.
And rounding out the Champions League Team of the Week are PSV Eindhoven midfielder Joey Veerman, and Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen.
