On-loan Barcelona starlet Álex Valle has secured for himself a place in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Week.
This comes owing to the 20-year-old’s efforts in Celtic’s weekend meeting with Motherwell.
Amid a fine recent spell of individual form, Valle was afforded his latest starting berth on Sunday, as Celtic made the trip to Fir Park for a league meeting with Motherwell.
When all was said and done, Brendan Rodgers’ troops emerged on the right side of a dominant 3-0 result.
And Valle, from his berth at left-back, shone once more.
Solid on the defensive side of the ball, and full of vigour on it, the Spaniard chipped in with an assist, too, his 2nd of the campaign to date.
And, as alluded to above, as much has proven enough to secure for Valle the honour of being named the Scottish top-flight’s best in his position from the latest round of fixtures.
