Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon could face jail after he was caught driving whilst banned.
Gordon signed for Newcastle late in the January transfer window as Eddie Howe looked to add more depth to his attack. Despite a disappointing season with Everton, the young winger managed to secure himself a move to a Champions League-chasing club.
Gordon is yet to make an appearance for his new club after being cup-tied in the Carabao Cup, but could be in line to make his debut this weekend.

However, off-the-pitch troubles may prevent this, as according to The Sun, Gordon has been caught driving despite being banned only a few days ago.
It’s not a great start for Gordon’s Newcastle career if this situation escalates and he gets in serious trouble with the police. It’s certainly an unwelcome distraction for Gordon as he looks to reignite his potential after stagnating in the final few months at Everton, but he only has himself to blame.
The report claims that Newcastle have been contacted to comment on the situation.
