Napoli make contact for Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic

Napoli have made contact for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic with a view of signing him in the summer.

The Partenopei are already trying to sign Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi and they are already on the verge of signing Bartosz Bereszynski from Sampdoria.

Daniele Longo has now reported that Napoli made exploratory contacts with the representatives of the midfielder recently and this was done to set up a negotiation for a move next summer. Cristiano Guintoli is keen on making sure that Napoli stay ahead of the competition and sign the midfielder.

Udinese believe that with his sale, they could make about €20 million in the summer. Milan are very attentive to his situation as well, having tried and come close to signing him about three seasons ago. They could have signed him for 500k because of a clause that existed in his Hertha Berlin contract.

The player had met both Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini but nothing had come of it, but Udinese are now looking forward to make a profit from his sale.
