Speaking ahead of Bayern’s clash with Stuttgart, coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed that Leroy Sané is a doubt for the upcoming clash with Stuttgart. He also gave an update on Sadio Mané, who recently returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann hopes Leroy Sané will be fit for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with VfB Stuttgart.

“Things are looking good. Leroy Sane will test his ankle today. He’s had a capsular problem, but if he gets the green light, he will take part in final training,” Nagelsmann told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

“Otherwise, there are no new problems. We will have to leave players out of the squad for the first time in a while. It’s nice to have almost every player available.”

Nagelsmann also gave an update on the fitness of Sadio Mané, who recently made his comeback from a long-term injury.

“He’s making a good impression. We will try and give him more minutes. It was a serious injury, but his fitness levels are good. Sadio is part of the usual battle for places.”
