Relegation threatened Montpellier HSC travel north to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy to face Lille OSC this evening as they hope to end a run of six defeats in a row. The southern side sit-bottom of the table seven points from safety with only ten games left of the Ligue 1 season.
Jean-Louis Gasset will likely look to make only one change from the team that lost 4-0 to Stade Rennais last weekend. Wahbi Khazri will likely drop to the bench with Gasset instead opting to field Tanguy Coulibaly alongside winter recruit Andy Delort.
The former Olympique de Marseille head coach will be without Khalil Fayad who picked up a suspension, while Nikola Maksimović and Bećir Omeragić are injured. While Christopher Jullien and Issiaga Sylla will be absent for this match, but are recovering from their injuries
Montpellier likely lineup vs Lille
Benjamin Lecomte; Théo Sainte-Luce, Modibo Sagnan, Boubakar Kouyaté, Bamo Meïté, Enzo Tchato; Teji Savanier, Joris Chotard, Jordan Ferri; Andy Delort, Tanguy Coulibaly. (L’Éq)
