Milan nearing agreement with Brighton for Pervis Estupinan

Serie A giants Milan have been working to sign Brighton left-back Pervis Estupinan and a move is now gaining momentum.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the defender has agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri and has said ‘yes’ to a four-year deal worth €2.5 million per season.

Jorge Mendes is helping Brighton and Milan come closer and the Italian side have increased their offer from €12 million to €15 million. This is a positive development, as Brighton’s stance has also softened after they rejected the first bid.

They initially wanted €23 million but now, their asking price can come down. Milan do not want to pay above €20 million but despite the lack of a total agreement, there is a rough understanding between the two clubs about a deal.

The Ecuador international’s will to move to the San Siro has proved key, as Estupinan is also phshing for a transfer.
