Mike Maignan (28) has picked up an injury to his finger during training with AC Milan this morning, and according to L’Équipe will undergo scans to determine the seriousness of the injury ahead of the summer Euros.
The goalkeeper has struggled throughout the season with a series of injuries that have seen the France goalkeeper miss games for both his club and country. His latest setback means that he will likely miss the remaining game of the season for Milan after he had already missed the previous four with an injury to his abductor.
France hope for good news over Mike Maignan
This will remain a concern for the French team as despite the problems that have faced Maignan lately he remains Didier Deschamps’ first choice between the posts. They will be keeping a close eye on the results of his tests before they have to make a final decision on the 7th of June over who will be included in the squad.
