Serie A giants Juventus could be nearing a sale of midfielder Nicolo Fagioli in the winter transfer window and French side Marseille are leading the race for him.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Fagioli is not happy at Juventus and he hasn’t taken his exclusions from the side well in recent weeks. He wants more game time and he is happy to seek an exit in the winter.
His exit will hand Juve important funds because he is a youth graduate, with the Bianconeri valuing him at €25 million to €30 million. As of now, Juve only want a permanent exit and Marseille are leading the race.
They have moved forward for him and Roberto de Zerbi appreciates the midfielder a lot. Fagioli has a good relationship with Adrien Rabiot and that could be a key aspect of the transfer. Joining Marseille is an idea that excites the Bianconeri player, but there is competition from Napoli.
A move to the Partenopei will be complex. Paris Saint-Germain also like Fagioli and so do English clubs, but Marseille are well ahead in the race.
