Marco Verratti’s agent Rafael Pimenta has revealed that the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has always carried the intention of returning to Italy at some point.
There has recently been talk of Verratti being interested in the idea of leaving PSG, with the midfielder potentially keen on a move to Juventus because of his liking for the Bianconeri since he was quite young.
While that move remains complicated because of Verratti’s wage demands, his agent Pimenta spoke to Calciomercato about the midfielder. She revealed that Verratti has always had intentions of returning to Italy at some point of his career.
She said: “Sooner or later an Italian thinks of going home. He always wants to return. I can’t say that this is not the case for him.”
Pimenta was also asked about Verratti’s future at PSG and she said: “Now PSG have to finish the championship, then we’ll see.”
She also went on to bin the rumours which have stated that Verratti wants to leave PSG, stating that she too heard about the rumours from the papers.
Recently, PSG fans have protested against some of the club’s players and that includes not just Verratti, but also the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi. Reports had stated that these protests have disturbed Verratti.
