Bayern Munich star Sadio Mané has advised the club bosses to sign Manchester City loanee Joao Cancelo permanently.

Sadio Mané has urged Bayern Munich to make Joao Cancelo’s loan deal from Manchester City permanent.

Cancelo made his first start for the Bavarians since February in yesterday’s 5-3 win over Augsburg and repaid the faith shown in him with a goal and an assist.

And Mané, who has been with Bayern since last summer, is hoping the 28-year-old right-back will sign a permanent deal in Munich.

“What a player! Today you saw again that Joao is one of the best in the world. So good, really, we are very happy that he is playing for us,” said Mané.

“I’d like to see him with us next season too. He’s exactly the kind of player we need.”

According to reports, Bayern have an option to sign Cancelo permanently for €70 million.
