According to Fabrice Hawkins, Juventus and Manchester United are interested in signing Youssouf Fofana (24) from Monaco. The French international is being monitored closely by the English and Italian clubs. Fofana’s contract with Les Monégasques is set to expire in 2025.
The RMC journalist also reports that Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the Monaco midfielder’s situation closely over the potentiality of a transfer. Juventus obtain the most interest in the Les Bleus midfielder having watched Fofana on several occasions for club and country.
The 24-year-old had the opportunity to sign for Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window but rejected the chance in favour of staying at the Stade Louis II. Fulham were also interested in the French midfielder. When asked about the interest in his services in the summer, Fofana said: “If you’re choosing between Monaco, Fulham and Nottingham, naturally I stay at Monaco.”
With European giants now interested in his services, it remains to be seen whether Youssouf Fofana will once again commit to Monaco or be tempted by opportunities elsewhere.
