Lyon predicted XI v Lille: Orel Mangala to debut in Round of 16 tie

Olympique Lyonnais will look to build on their impressive performance against Olympique de Marseille over the weekend with a Coupe de France victory against Lille OSC.

The winter transfer window was a busy period for Les Gones as they became Europe’s biggest spenders, and their selections against Lille may represent some of those recent acquisitions. Orel Mangala joined from Nottingham Forest on loan with an option to purchase that would see the midfielder become the club’s record signing. He watched from the stands as Lyon beat Marseille, but could be provided a chance to make his debut tonight.

Gift Orban and Malick Fofana were brought in from the Belgian league and may collect another start for the team. Lucas Perri has yet to appear for his new club since moving from Botafogo at the start of January, but the goalkeeper might be picked for his first start in France. However, the importance of the occasion may see manager Pierre Sage go with a more established option.
