Bayer Leverkusen have allayed fears that Jeremie Frimpong has suffered a serious injury.

Bayer Leverkusen were dealt an injury blow earlier this week when Jeremie Frimpong was forced to withdraw from the Netherlands squad.
Fortunately for the Bundesliga leaders, however, the injury isn’t too serious.
In a statement, Leverkusen have revealed that Frimpong is suffering from “minor hip problems”.
Die Werkself added that they hope to have him fit for next week’s match against Werder Bremen.
