According to Fabrizio Romano, Leny Yoro (18) can be considered a Manchester United player as he is set to sign a deal to join the Premier League club from Lille. The 18-year-old is set to sign a 5-year contract which will see him stay at Old Trafford until 2029.
Les Dogues will receive a substantial fee for their academy product. Yoro is set to cost United €50m plus substantial add-ons, Romano reports. The final estimated fee is expected to be around €62m if all bonuses and conditions are met during the move. The English outfit were the highest bidders for the France U21 international.
Real Madrid were unwilling to move from their €25m valuation for Yoro and willing to wait another year to land his services when he would have been available on a free transfer. PSG were also below the Red Devils in their evaluation of the Lille player. Foot Mercato report that the Lille defender has successfully completed his medical with the club and a deal could be finalised as early as Thursday.
