A free agent since the expiry of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, Layvin Kurzawa (32) is now set to begin the next chapter in his career. According to a report from L’Équipe, the Frenchman is set to move to Portuguese side Boavista.
Kurzawa’s options have been limited. Having failed to sign a deal before the closure of the transfer window in France, he can no longer be registered for any club in Ligue 1 until the start of the season; this applies for many leagues across Europe and so the left-back has seen his options limited considerably.
He has therefore been forced to look abroad in his search for a new club. There has been interest from Leganes in Spain, however, a deal was never completed and he now looks set to sign for Boavista, who are currently bottom of the Portuguese top flight. Kurzawa will sign a six-month deal with the club.
